Obituary of George H. Dale.Jr.

After a courageous battle, George Henry Dale, Jr. "Box" peacefully made his transition into the Loving Arms of God, on Sunday, afternoon, August 26, 2007. The oldest child of George and Betty Dale, "Box" was born on November 15, 1955 in Wilmington, DE. He attended the Wilmington Public Schools, from there he entered the Armed Forces, where he served his country at Fort Dix, N.J. He was honorably discharged. "Box was a well known personality in the city of Wilmington, especially in the Northeast Community. Many can attest to his generous spirit-always willing to give to others. "Box" leaves to cherish his memories, four loving children, Paula M. Avant, Nadia D., Demetre A. and Dustin A. Dale; his devoted parents George H. and Betty J. Dale, 1 grandchild, Brittany Avant; 2 brothers, Gregory O. and Kevin B. Dale; 2 sisters Michelle Stafford and Bridget D. Dale; 1 sister-in-law Cheryl B. Dale; 1 nephew Gregory O.
