Obituary of John Wheeler McGhee

John Wheeler McGhee, Jr. Of Wilmington, Delaware age 82, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2007. He was born December 13, 1924 in Franklinton, NC, the son of the late John and Parthine McGhee. Mr. McGhee was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local Union No. 1 of DE/PA and a Navel Veteran of World II and he was also a member of Shekinah Glory Fellowship Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGhee was preceded in death by his long time companion Elizabeth Taylor, his brother Aaron McGhee, and son Ronald S. McGhee, Sr. He is survived by his former wife, Agnes McGhee, 4 daughters, Louise Joyner, Linda Brokenbrough, Kim Smith, Senora Taylor 2 sons, Reverend Ivan V. McGhee, Sr. and Tracey Taylor, 2 daughter-in-laws, Meta and Juanita McGhee, 3 son-in-laws, Raymond Brokenbrough, Timothy Woods and James Smith, 1 loving sister Daphine Pender and 1 Uncle Joseph Avery, 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of cousins and friends. His family would like to thank the physicians, Visiting Nurse Association, Delaware Hospice, Fresenius Medical Care and CTF Ambulance Service.
