Obituary of Marshall Douglas Wynn

MARSHALL DOUGLAS WYNN was born on June 7, 1925 in King William, Virginia. He was the fourth child of seven children born to the late James Marshall Wynn and Sinclaire Gwalthney Wynn. He and Nellie move to Wilmington, Delaware where he became a Cement Finisher with Emest Disabatino & Sons. He joined the union, Local 199, in 1959. He retired as Cement Finisher, after 40 years in 1987 from the CI&DE Corporation. On Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 3:00 PM, God sent His angel to bring Marshall Douglas Wynn home. He heeded the Master's Call and claimed his resting place. Marshall was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife, Nellie J.Wynn; daughter and sons, Mary H. Wise(William), Carl D. Wynn (Rose), Thomas B. Wynn, Michael J. Wynn (Renee), Wayne L.(Chinita) and Elwood Washington of Baltimore who preceded him in death in the Fall of 2006. Also, he leaves his sister, Pauline W. Freeman. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Andrew and Thomas. Also, preceded him in death, were his sisters, Nannie and Mary. He also leaves one sister-in-law, Mamie Wynn; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
