Obituary of Lucy Mae Edwards

Lucy Mae Edwards, the daughter of the late Wyard Edwards and Edith Mae Edwards, was born April 11, 1941 in South Hampton, Virginia. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware the age of 66. She was educated in the South Hampton School District. In the 1960�(TM)s she moved to Delaware were she worked in the domestic field for many families until her illness. She became a member of New Life United Holy Church of America, under Elder Robert Goodman. She loved to do cross wordbooks and puzzles. Lucy leaves to cherish her memory; her son, Larry Edwards and his wife Luberta; one sister, Jermaine Maben of Lynchberg, Virginia; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 aunts, 1 uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
