It's been 13 years since the passing of my Mother! She was a great woman and I have joy knowing that I let her know how great and special she was on a daily basis. I loved her while she was here and have comfort in knowing that she knew how much I loved her. She was the type of woman that would cry from just a paper cut. When she was stricken with cancer she became a mighty force for God! She told me how she would go into chemotherapy and other cancer patients were struggling and weak but she was strong in the Lord and would pray for them and talk with them to try and give them comfort. She wasn't worried about her own issues but instead, she wanted to be there for the other patients. Her last few days on earth she was not able to breathe and as she was laying on the hospital bed struggling to get air I said, "Mom how do you do it" and she just pointed up into the air letting me know that God was here air and her strength. I remember growing up, our whole family would go to church minus my mom. I was always worried about her salvation and I would pray for God to touch her heart and save her. My prayer was answered! When she was about 50 she started going to church and she got saved. She gave God her all! My only comfort is that I had her in my life for 43 years and I know that she is with God now as the bible tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Mom, I will always love you more than you could ever know and I will see you again!

I am Sharon's last son . To me she was a great mother and good friend. I wish that everyone in this world could have met her. I know she would have touched your life in some way.I feel lost with out her for so many reasons, but I am so happy to have had a mother like her.Ive often heard people say words cant explain ,now I know what it really means. I wish I could have done something special for her before she went home. My life will never be the same without her,but it would not have been what it was without her to begin with. I love you mommy. I thank you Lord for giving me her.

Not long after Brian posted this message he also went home to the Lord as he died in a motorcycle accident! I was 9 years older than Brian so growing up we didn't hang much until he got older. We would always go out and play basketball and then Brian and I worked together every day at the refinery. Losing Brian I lost a part of myself. He was way too young to be taken away but God's plan is always better than our plan. Love you baby brother!

To the Stephens family, we are deeply sadden by your loss, and hope that you find comfort in the Lord Jesus Christ. It may be hard to understand right now, however, trust in the lord with all thine heart and he shall direct your path (Proverbs ch.3 vs 5-7)

I was very sad to see this.
Years ago, Sharon Ann Burgette ran a small 4H club in my neighbourhood. She was always there for the kids and I have fond memories of making crafts and having tons of fun at her home in Parsons. She was a wonderful woman who touched many hearts. I will never forget her.
Dawn, Travis and Brian: I am not sure if you remember me. We were very young and only knew each other for a short time, but you and all of your family and loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.
