Obituary of Caris Ann Richardson

Ms. Caris Ann Richardson, age 60 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 after years of battling the effects of cancer. Ms. Caris Ann Richardson was born in Wyllisburg, Virginia on May 26, 1946 to the late Willie O. Richardson and Louise A. Richardson. Caris was educated in the Wilmington Public School System and was employed at the Y.M.C.A. Home Life Management Center until her illness in 2003. She was a member of Greater St. John's Baptist Church . Caris was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Dorsey. She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Pamelia and Marni Richardson; three grandchildren, Mark, Demetrus and Shannon Richardson; one great grandchild, Mark; three brothers, Alfred Lee and William Richardson and Leroy Brown; four sisters, Rosetta Richardson-Jones, Joyce Wilks, Laura Richardson and Unice Younger and a host of relatives and friends.
