Obituary of Vinetta Hill

VINETTA TAFT-HILL(Gatlin) Age 90, Mrs. Vinetta Taft-Hill felt the Master(TM)s tender hands and peacefully departed in her sleep on Saturday, October 7, 2006. Mrs. Hill was, the daughter of the late Ernest Gatlin and Nancy Smith. She was education in Simpson, N.C. She accepted the Lord at an early age and served Him with a smile. She derived the most Spiritual joy in her Christian Walk in serving others. She was a chartered member of the Latter Day Baptist Church. In May 2002 she resigned from the Delaware "Foster Grandparent Program" with 24 years of “outstanding volunteer” service sharing her talents with children possessing special needs. We rejoice in knowing Vinetta will live on in the lives of her two nieces, Shirley Jean Bell, Greenville, N.C. and Muriel D. Sutton, Brooklyn, NY; a loving god-daughter, Shirley Young of Delaware, and god-son Keith Hackett, Denver, Colorado; three special cousins: Travis Gatlin of Wilmington, Delaware, Willard Gatlin, Hampton, VA (who was supportive and her confidant); a committed, attentive caregiver, Joyce Green-Miles and her husband, Rev. Dr. Wayne Miles; and a host of other relatives and friends. Read Vinetta Hill's Obituary and Guestbook on houseofwrightmortuary.com.
