Obituary of Kandis L. Harding

Kandis, born June 29, 1973 went to be with the LORD on September 5, 2006 at home surrounded with her loved ones. Kandis was born to the union of Deborah and Otis L. Britt, Jr. Kandis received her education from the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware. Kandis devoted her life to her husband, Marcus and their three sons, Khy L. Duker, Kassell A. and Kemuel O. Harding. Kandis enjoyed caring for every baby within her radius. She loved her entire family with every inch of her heart and soul. Kandis worked as a child care provider in Day Care Centers throughout Wilmington. She received countless awards and recognitions from her employers as well as many pleased children and parents. Kandis is predeceased in death by her grandfathers, George “Big Candy Steele” and Otis L. Britt, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Marcus G. Harding; sons, Khy L. Duker, Kassell A. and Kemuel O. Harding; mother, Deborah A. Britt; father, Otis L. Britt, Jr.; two sisters, Karla L. Britt and Kimberly L. Moore; one brother, Omar Owens; grandmothers, Beatrice C. Steele and Rev. Dr. Ruth E. Britt; mother-in-law, Reba Harding; Godmother, Rev. Dr. Otila D. Thorton; Godfather, Bishop Isaac Burns; four sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law; four aunts and two uncles; sixteen nieces and nephews, Karlo, Karryn, Kevin and Kyshaad Britt, Kyshaan and Khyla Moore, Kaimhyre Britt-Jackson, Star, Mary, Taylor, Emma, William, Margaret, Marlene, Damon and Najie Harding; special loved ones; Lamont, Derrick, Dwayne Britt, Dhonyale Watson, April and her son Jakhye Valn, Khalil Wilson, Annette Guy, Aunt Janet, Malaika Livingston and countless cousins and friends.
