Alma Gardner

Obituary of Alma Shirley Gardner

Alma Shirley Gardner born in sumpter, SC. The family moved to Wilmington, DE when she was 3 years old. She was the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. My blessed mother was the best, excellent cook and friend. So, sweet, kind, gentle, s oft spoken, hard working, compassionate and caring. Always putting "God" first, family second and whenever she could friends, neighbors too. We love you so much Mom. you're my friend, my confident, my blessed companion. We were brought up in the fear and nurture of almighty God. Mom was as beautiful on the outside as well as on the inside. She was the sharpest dresser, I ever saw especially on Sunday, everything had to match including those wide brimmed hats. I will always cherish the precious time we spent together and her sense of "Humor" Hilarious" and brilliant mind, sharp to the end. Most importantly aspect she loved to worhip and praise God and get in her shout for the Lord. Alma leaves to cherish her memories children Herman Gardner, Jr., Barbara Gardner, Patricia A. Gardner and Jean S. Gardner-Jackson and also survived by 2 sisters, 1 brother and other famiy members. Read Alma Gardner's Obituary and Guestbook on houseofwrightmortuary.com.
