Obituary of Rev.Arcessa Marie Townsend

On July 1, 2006, God looked down on his servant Arcessa and said "Well done, thou good and faithful servant", and onward home she went to see the King. Arcessa (Cess) was born on February 2, 1945 in Snowhill, MD to Martha Collins and the late Hilton Collins. Arcessa was preceded in death by her husband, Valice Townsend; 3 sisters Betty collins, Martha Triplett and Doris Pennewell; 3 brothers Thomas, Rudolph and Michael Collins. She leaves to cherish many wonderful and blessed memories her mother, Martha Collins; 2 daughters Ethel Townsend of Syracuse, NY and Angela Rayne; 1 son Stacey Collins (Robin), 2 devoted grandsons Min. Jamarr and Jeremiah Rayne whom she raised; 2 sisters Addie Bivens and Esterine Washington; 3 brothers Lester, Lawrence all of Wilm., DE; and Charles (Teresa) of Salisbury, MD; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and devoted friends.
