Obituary of James Henry Lortharp

James Henry "Lefty" "Country" son of Clementine Lotharp and the late Henry Lotharp, was born March 11, 1947 in Charlotte, NC and departed this life on Monday, June 12, 2006. James Henry Lotharp graduated in 1966 from Wilmington High School. He was very popular in sports which included the first team all-state football in 1965, then in 1966 he was a member of the Blue Allstar football team. He made his career as a Wilmington firefighter ntil he retired. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 nephews. In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish fond membores, 2 sons, Ionie Lum (Apple) and Kemp Lotharp; 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Cierra, Clonie Lum; 6 sisters Emily s. Poon , Ruth G. Dickerson, Diane Davis, Janet Brown, Sharon Powns and Elaine Davis;1 brother-in-law Kenneth A. Brown, Sr,; 5 nieces, 3 nephews' 4 great nephewsd; 1 uncle; 1 aunt; close friends Fred (Boo) Young and a host of cousins and friends.
