Obituary of Rochelle D. Pierson

Rochelle D. Pierson affectionately known as "Aunt Roe-Roe" went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. Daughter of the late Jesse and Willie Lee Pierson. Ms. Pierson was born in Wilmington, DE August 4, 1956. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1974. Ms. Pierson was a dedicated employee of the State of DE at Ferris School for Boys for the past 25 years. During these years, she formed many close bonds with staff and had a positive impact on numerous residents of the facility. Rochelle leaves to cherish in her memory her brother, John K. Pierson; sister-in-law, Evonne Pierson; sister and best friend, Juanita K. Pierson; devoted friend, Daniel McArthur; 2 adopted daughters, Nyia Pritchett and Tameka Hagler; 3 nephews, Jay F. Clark, Kelvin R. Clark, Sr. and Tyrique Clark; 2 very special nieces, Ja'neisha Washington and Destiny "Dee Dee" Pritchett; Roe's little soldiers, Nyerere Pritchett, Kelvin Clark, Jr., Khiry Clark, Tymere Lynch and Corey Pinkney, all of Wilmington, DE and a host of other relatives and close friends.
