Obituary of Esro Ellerbe

ESRO ELLERBE son of the late Leon and Jeanette Ellerbe was born on May 13, 1939 in Sheraw, SC departed this life December 18, 2005 at his residence. HE graduated from Sheraw High School. ESRO enjoyed attending Delaware Park. Esro also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He was also a friendly and loving person who loved to share. ESRO ELLERBE was employed by General Motors for 30 years. Esro was extremely proud of all the awards he received while employed at General Motors. He was especially proud of the award he received for the Sacrifice and Dedication in helping Mr. William Driver to be able to fulfill a useful career at General Motors. WE will miss Esro but God loves him best. We will carry him in our hearts always. HE leaves to cherish memories his wife Brenda D. Ellerbe; 4 daughters Theresa Tyler, Leatrice Hearn, Trina M. Ewell-Miles and Anita Butler; 3 sons Esro Ellerbe, Jr, Chris Ellerbe and Reginal Matthews; 1 daughter-in-law Antoinette Ellerbe; 4 son-in-laws Keith Tyler, Craig Hearn, Ryan Miles and Shawn Butler; 9 grandchildren Shakita Ellerbe, LaTasha Palmer, Arielle Baine, Ryanasia Ewell, Jakira Miles, Chris Ellerbe, Jr., Bernard Ellerbe, Vincent Goldsberry, Jeremy Ellerbe; 4 great grandchildren Eunaiya Wright, Jada Roberts, Eunasia Wright and Myla Palmer; 5 sisters Helen Jones, Gloria Hughes, Peacola Ellerbe, Ruth Ellerbe and Beatrice Saunders; 2 brothers Louis Ellerbe and Leon Ellerbe, Jr.; 2 sister-in-laws Margaret Ann Ewell and Janice Cole; 7 brother-in-laws Perry Matthews, Warren Williams, Lee Arthur Hughes, Louis Chancey, Thomas Matthews, Michael Matthews and David Matthews; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
