Obituary of Alonzo Anthony Smith

Alonzo Anthony “Smitty” Smith, born November 25, 1959 in Wilmington, DE, was the son of Ernest Demonia, Sr. and the late Lucille White departed this life Friday December 2, 2005 in the St. Francis Hospital. Anthony was raised by his adopted parents the late Charles and Frances Strother, Sr. He received his early education in the Wilmington Public Schools System; later he attended the Delaware Technical College in Wilmington. Anthony was a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend. He was fun loving, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Anthony leaves to cherish his memories three sons Kevin Miller, Anthony Stanley, and Dwayne Harden; one Daughter Heather Ball; 7 Grandchildren; His father Ernest Demonia, Sr. stepmother Louise; maternal grandmother Saddie Outlaw. Three brothers Marvin Smith; Joseph White; and Ernest Demonia; Seven sisters Mary Jones; Wanda Young; Nadine, Ernestine, Annette, Margarite Demonia, and Janel Ames. Two devoted nephews Nnamdi Chukwuocha, and Albert Mills, his twins as he referred to them. With a host of other relatives including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, 1 god daughter Frances Stanley, devoted friend Dawn Tucker and a host of other friends.
